Indoor Air Quality and Mold Remediation
INDOOR AIR QUALITY
Research shows that indoor pollutants such as dust mite waste, mold, mildew, animal dander, insect waste and body parts (especially from cockroaches) and tobacco smoke have been strongly associated with increased respiratory illness for people with asthma and allergies.
Biological pollutants like these promote poor indoor air quality and may be a major cause of days lost from work and school. In office buildings, heating, cooling and ventilation systems are frequent sources of biological substances which, when inhaled, lead to breathing problems.
MOLD AND FUNGUS
Most recently we have all been aware of homes and businesses infested with mold and fungus. These biological pollutants have caused serious health concerns and increased the amount of damage in facilities damaged by water insurgence. Remediation of these hazards requires highly trained personnel and equipment. Strict guidelines must be followed in the removal and remediation of bio-hazard contaminants.
